Montreal is not going to trade a 1st for Nil Lundkvist. You would be lucky to Edmonton's 2nd right now with the way the Rags are handling him. Poehling for Lundkvist is a really good deal, both are being buried on the depth charts and are in need of somewhere they can reach their potential. Poehling is a good 3C the problem is we have 2 other 3C's who are more offensive so far. It's the same reason Lundkvist has not made the Rags yet with Fox-Trouba-Schneider there is no room for him.

And the Habs would rather draft someone 26th like Ty Nelson or Lane Huston who are both better than Lindqvist
