I don't mind it, though I can't really see us swinging Debrincat and keeping the 6. I have heard Murphy should be fetching a first as well.
Giving up Chinakov is hard considering his shooting and one-touch playmaking look really good, but Debrincat is on another level. He would be guaranteed to elevate Laine as well. If CHI wants to move by volume they could make some of these plays. Otherwise we kind of have to start with the LA Kings trade for Fiala (19th plus Faber). Fiala was 2.77 WAR and Debrincat was 4.99 WAR, so it's going to be a significantly higher return. 12OA + Boqvist could do it in terms of an apples to apples trade. Bean was worth a second and that's likely less than Faber but it depends on how the CHI FO sees offensive defenseman. 12OA+Bean+Chinakov/Texier may do it but I can still see Chicago asking for more here if they don't like Bean. Also depends on what other people are bidding.
Murphy in the return makes it even more complicated but it's worth a look. Is he worth 2 2nds, Bemstrom + Foudy? I am not so sure, especially with the depth of this draft. He's pretty hard to sus out but he would definitely be at most our 4th best defenseman. I think I'd like a look at Chychrun even if it's a higher price there. Especially if we are keeping one of the firsts. Bet on Bemstrom and Foudy to be better than they've shown and cash out when some of our prospects have high but untapped potential.
I also think we move on from Voracek if we have Dcat. His playmaking is great but he doesn't offer much otherwise. If not him then it would have to be Nyquist (who I feel is better in the locker room) because we'd have to get our young talent playing or it would be another drop off the next year.
Personally I'd keep Carlsson over Bayreuther and I think there's no point to Deslauriers considering we just added Olivier for that purpose.
