The core is in place for a few years, the barzal extension either has to be massive or he walks with a 10mil QO(or an insane offer sheet)
Either mayfield or dunn is lost in next years free agency

The following offseason is interesting because of sorokin being a UFA, have to imagine he gets a long term deal.

Don't see Montreal giving up pick 33 OA+ when they seem to be dumping better players.

Really don't see Seattle trading their #1 LHD, with half retention, for a 33 year old, when the season starts, that's not part of their future plans.

You won't, or at least shouldn't get a 2nd for Varly from Buffalo.

Just my guesses. Seems a lot of teams helping the Islanders get Gaudreau
