Not sure when the last time the #2 pick was traded (someone can refresh my memory) but NJD is in a spot where they want high-quality contributors who fit their timeline and i don't think we have any of that outside of Suzuki and Caufield...they are also not in a position to take quantity of picks over quality picks (aka #26 + #33 + players or whatever)...just don't see a fit for NJD here

Again not a fit for ARZ at all, no logical reason to move out of the #3 spot when they have 6 picks from 27-46

Seattle could go with the quality or trade for some more quantity to build their pool but they do have 4 2nd rd picks and i don't think 26 + 33 is enticing for them, 9 + 16 from BUF would make more sense if they choose quantity...not a fit imo

This is probably the most "probable" spot to move into if we were to make a trade...the Flyers don't have a lot of picks or a real strog prospect group but i think the franchise is looking to compete (especially with the Torts higher)?? Maybe 26 + 33 + Roster Player(s) like Anderson/Dvorak and the Habs take JVR or Lindbolm back for cap purposes? Im not sure, there would be a lot of work to make a trade happen but it might be the most logical

CBJ is a team that might want to start taking the next step but i think trading pick #12 for quality roster players would fit their plan better...not a fit

Im sure the Wild asked for this in a Fiala deal and OTT might be fine with grabbing a winger here...not a fit

Don't think trading this pick is in the Yzerplan unless it's for a young C (PLD maybe?)...not a fit

I think the only way BUF moves in this draft is up to get Nemec or Jiricek or for a younger established player who fits their timeline as well...not a fit
