I guess that's fair. For me, I saw it as taking on Moore's dead cap lowered the difference. Jones also barely played last year and I dont know whether he still fits in Anaheim's plans. The team doesnt really have any top 6 LW (unless you think Comtois will earn a top 6 spot), so taking on Zucker for only an extra $2.5M and then being able to flip him at deadline for a pick instead of holding onto 2 players who might not feature much this year just made sense to me.

I think Jones still has a role (probably a middle 6 guy if not bottom 6) and pray we have a Comtois Zegras Terry line all of next season. We have no reason to deal Moores contract since it is only worth to like 1.5 when is is buried.
