Just because we are in talks doesn't necessarily mean we will trade a top asset for him, he was a top 4 dman in Edmonton but there was a reason he got dealt, I think he is just another poolman

He got dealt from EDM because they had two top 4 d in bouchard and barrie already and all 3 are puck moving d. Trust me when I say Bear will be your 2nd best D if you get him lol.

And you can't have Boeser for a bottom pair D that is too expensive. Canucks are going to want a good prospect or roster player if they move Boeser. A likely late 1st and a 2nd isn't very enticing. I don't think Bear is going to be qualified or traded and will simply become a UFA this summer.

If Morrow isn't involved then the package probably has to be around Necas as the main piece.
