Honestly, with the new coach I'd be holding on to Gurianov if I'm Dallas. This will be the first time in his career he's had a coach that actually gives a rip about offense. Could finally take chains off of his game and let him let loose. I'm holding on to him through the season. If it doesn't work then we reevaluate next offseason while we still have his rights, but I'm sitting tight with the Russian for now

If Nill made this trade, I certainly wouldn't be mad at it, but I see what Nichushkin is doing in Colorado since Dallas gave up on him early in his career and I'd hate to see the same mistake happen again with Gurianov.

If Deboer can rebuild Guris confidence and play him to his strengths Guri is a weapon. Previous coach’s have tried to make him a shield.
