Trouba is a hometown kid (fun fact, went to school with him) so there’s definitely a possibility he waives (Tuch waived for BUF after all). I’m just not a fan of making this trade right now, would rather sell pieces for futures given the Wings’ play last year will likely correlate to further marginal improvements again next year rather than a shot at playoffs.
