Doomsday clock? Oh let me guess he won't resign in Toronto based on you obvious insider knowledge, you're one of those ones eh?

What a dumb comment when there is nothing to support it. You guys are funny.

It's in the pudding, bro. If he wanted to play in Toronto, he wouldn't have signed the EXACT length that took him to free agency. Yes, a lot can still change, but if you have a chance to get him for free, take it. They're rebuilding right now anyway; they're in no hurry to compete. If they plant a nice garden, it'll make it a hell of a lot more tempting for AM34 should he hit free agency and see that a good set-up awaits him.

I knew Parise was leaving; I knew Tavares was leaving. Free agency gets more and more tempting the closer you get to it.

Lol ok man. Well that settles it then. He's gone. Better fold the franchise because your conjecture says he's leaving. Nothing to back it up of course, but the pudding says so. The vast majority of star free agents stay, but hey you listed 2 that didn't so I guess we're screwed. I guess by your feeble logic McD will leave Edmonton and sign with us anyway so we'll be ok.

Phew...we're saved.

He signed to his UFA year so that he could cash in at the earliest time. The Leafs will pay, and he's killing it on endorsements in Toronto. He's got no reason to leave.

I’d love to know what that man is actually making per year on everything

I guarantee his new BET365 (or whatever site) endorsement deal is huge...........ever since they made it legal in Ontario, every other commercial during a hockey game is gambling related.
