um, you do know that wings are away from the floor currently and basically get a 1st for 1 yr a space which wont effect signing the young and key guys coming through. oiler recoup some mid round draft capital in a draft where they are lacking picks. its 100% fair especially given the prices going for contracts as of late

probably a bit of an overpay IMO but something in this realm probably gets it done. wings would really value the first given their org position and oilers would value the space and could reaqurie some mid round capital. concept is a win/win

the guy scored over 20 goals last yr and is young that can be cost controlled for term. you get an average of 20G per season each from yamo, rodrigues and JP next yr, you're having very impactful depth spread across 3 lines.

it makes sense for them. Get a young man. a 3rd line winger and draft capital. Kassian and smith have a prior relationship so makes sense why kass and sens are linked.
