If Turcotte's going out of LA, K'Andre Miller is coming back. Otherwise, the discussion with LA ends.

Imagine thinking turcotte, who hasn’t really done anything but get injured since being drafted, is worth a young top 4 d. Rangers taking a chance and still giving up one of their better prospects in Jones.

No one said that Turcotte is worth Miller. Just that Turcotte isn't going out unless Miller is coming back. Last summer it probably would have been an even swap. This summer, the Kings would need to add.

I mean you are acting like turcotte is some massive prize. He’s often injured, held pointless in his 8 game audition, and put up 19 points in 27 ahl games.

Jones has 6 points in 22 nhl games, and put up 35 in 52 in the ahl. He’s a solid rising prospect while turcotte has fallen. Even recent prospect rankings have shown this.

That doesn't mean the Kings are looking to sell low. Turcotte's development has been derailed by injury issues, the most recent of which was due to a cheap shot to the head during the playoffs, so it's not like he has some concerning recurring injury that he's dealing with. All of his potential is still there, he just needs more playing time.

It's fine if you don't want to give up Miller for Turcotte. I don't blame you at this point. However, you also need to be prepared for the Kings to decide to keep Turcotte if you don't.
