Thats a lot to give up for JT who's a UFA next year. I dont think WAS will go for that. If Malkin somehow goes to UFA look for WAS to sign him.

Overpay IMO. Put in a lesser prospect instead of Lapierre, and take out the 24 2nd.

On the Malkin front, you're correct, and I don't know how chummy Ovy and Malkin are, but they were rumoured in on Miller and still are.

If they didn't land Malkin, the price would be similar, except next year's resources rather than the first this year. And that's provided Malkin isn't re-signed by Pit. If he is, the price will probably look like this.

WSH will do the lesser prospect. The second isn't nearly as important as Lapierre

Lappy's definitely not for sale. Even with him out, I wouldn't do this trade if I was GMBM, I think it's still an overpay just for the picks. Washington is not a great destination for Miller as I doubt we'd trade the future when our prospect pool is already so dry and a rebuild is probably imminent.
