Nemec projects to be more offensive than Severson, likely a little less defensively. He would likely steal more minutes from Dougie than Sevs.
Slafkovsky, Sharangovich and Foote aren’t all that comparable. Slafkovsky is a highly skilled, mobile winger, who just happens to be big. Sharangovich relies on his hockey IQ, his long reach, and quick release wrist shot (the skating has really come along the last few years). Foote is more of a typical big winger (hits, plays interior, protects puck with body) who happens to have a great shot and good hands (and below average skating).
Cooley would be a couple of years. He would present a harder choice as another play-driving center. Reminds me often of a smaller Nathan MacKinnon on his transitions/entries.
