They’re probably similar but Yamamoto gives you more offence and Brown more defence . Yamamoto is also younger and under team control where as Brown is a rental

Yamamoto is a smaller forward on that was on pace for 40ish points, over the last 2 seasons brown has been on pace for 50 points and 20 goals, keep in mind that's in his last 110 games. id agree on you're right that we don't have to pay that much but brown is worth more than yamo I feel, just an opinion

Keith isn't retiring, would you be opposed to having blake wheeler, he's rumored to be traded at some point with the jets.

tbh the reason why brown would be the best fit and possibly sign long term is because he used to play in erie over in the O with McDavid but you might be right he could purely be a rental and test the market, thx for the feeedback
