Kulak signs back in EDM

Native Edmonton boy was extremely good for us in the playoffs. Ken Holland mentioned he was interested in signing him.
Oilers should definitely sign Kulak ASAP. One of the main priorities this offseason.

yeah i was hoping Washington could get him... like i said he is the type of defender we need to pair Washington. If i was EDM i would 100% try to get him signed. he was really impressive in the playoffs

Brilliant move by Dallas get a guy to sign a cheap extension then Immediately Trade him . Going to be a real good selling point to the next RFA they try to resign.

Yeah “extension” he signed a 1 year show me deal. Lol they didn’t extend him like 5 years. He’s also been underutilized in Dallas. He was under a .5ppg player. Idk if I would say 2.9m is “cheap” it’s more fitting than anything. You could argue it’s on the high end. Interesting option. Explain what makes his deal cheap? Is there soMe underlying numbers I’m missing? You’d have a great point if he had term or any type of solid point production but as it stands now you made 0 good points.

I would keep Protas who has a great chance to beckme a better player. He’s cheaper also. DG is a risk that I would rather not make. Just sign Mikheyev to a similar deal. He’s been much better and it doesn’t cost you assets
