I wish more players thought that way tbh… I can see Sid doing that at the end of his career like taking 1M to go play with Mackinnon or just stay in PIT to mentor the young guys… maybe Bergeron takes less idk

I have a ton of respect for anyone who takes a big pay cut to help the team…
On the flip side, I have no respect for the entire Toronto maple leafs roster except the old dudes lol 😂
Every time I look at their CF page I just laugh
