Description
tanking is the best thing ever lol i would be so excited if we tanked like this. i know these trades look wanky as all get out but hear me out guys we know these guys all have much higher value than they actually should if you were to use any common sense (with the exception of dvo and allen i suppose theyre pretty fair i think). habs pick shane first, then lambert at 13 (NYI) , miro at 18 (DAL), and odelius at 26 (CAL). this team is really brought together around the concept of focusing on the youth and letting everyone figure it out together, the defence and second pk are the real examples of this, filled with youth at the expense of experience, remember we are still trying to lose here after all. i would usually be very adamand on keeping pitlick on line 1 but having drou up there might kickstart his game again and if he can produce he would be a very exciting piece come the deadline, same with dadonov to a lesser extent.

I don’t see the skating issue tbh. Like Scott Wheeler says, good and bad skating is a lazy term. His stride isn’t pretty but he’s strong and it’s been effective against CHL competition. There r guys who come on late.

scott wheeler said in the prospect pool rankings that he worries about the sluggishness of dufour’s stride as well as his tendency to bobble pucks, which he says harms guys at higher speeds. i’m curious to see how he does, he’s got good offensive skill for sure.

Oh I was referencing Wheeler’s guide to scouting. I thought his report on the isles prospect pool showcased how little he was following their system tbh lol. Like he did a really mediocre job lol. Didn’t give Raty enough credit either lol.

Wheeler didn’t like Bolduc when he was performing well in the AHL. Not saying he’s biased but the isles had a lot of underage AHL players and he didn’t do a great job of analyzing them either.

he doesn’t get paid to give our guys credit, he gets paid to judge them. i feel like his analysis across the board is generally pretty fair and i find myself agreeing with him more than i do with pronman. räty’s shown a lot more since he made that ranking and in the post-draft pool rankings i expect it’ll reflect that, but i get the concerns.

Oh I’m not saying he has to like the isles. Im saying that he doesn’t follow them that closely. He’s way better than Pronman lol.

I’m just saying it’s hard to evaluate a system made up of underaged AHL players, a few guys in Ligga and one kid in the Q. Kids in the Q sometimes don’t get as much credit as they deserve.

If you tried to accept any of these trades in Chel you would not only be fired in franchise mode but Sony would come and confiscate your PlayStation.

Please stop with these trades, not only is Josh Anderson not worth that package but he’s actually a cap dump

Why is that? Rasmussen played better this year. He is a big guy who is starting to play better. Dvorak has hit the ceiling and was suppose to be the next top center and showed he is nothing ut a 2nd or 3rd line center, who has injury issues. Rasmussen is no super star but is way cheaper, younger and getting better.

Detroit would be dumb to pass that up lol

You're nuts. Dvorak is nothing special and Ras has taken huge strides, let alone giving up a pick.

Why does everyone keep thinking Detroit needs middle 6 forwards? Plenty of youth to grow into those spots.
