There is no way that the Leafs would trade the Sandin or Liljegren who are without a doubt two future first pairing defenceman in the National Hockey League.

Quite some bias there. Both will be great second pairing d-mem but are simply not at the level of a true first pair d man

agreed, it would definately have to be one of them, and a forward prospect.

They aren't there yet and it will take another 2 or 3 years, but at some point they will be Toronto's first pairing. The Leafs have invested a lot in those two. They aren't moving on from them. One year of J.T. Miller is worth neither of them, let alone both.

Also not sure what the Subban love in is all about. I've seen him signed on the last four Leaf teams I've looked at. The dude cannot play. Simply cannot. Can Not.

For about 5 yrs now Subban has been more worried about what his outfit looks like than playing hockey. He's a # 8/9 d-man on most teams.
