I would say Kerfoot is beyond enough of a sweetener to move Mrazek. You're asking the Leafs to send a 2nd, a goalie who has been above average for 300 NHL games and a very good middle 6 forward for a 3rd pair defenceman making 4 million a year. This is very 1 sided. I'd wager Kerfoot and Mrazek in a package nets an okay return. Not this.

If Mrazek had one year left i would agree but he has 2 yrs left . Show me a middle of the pack backup goalie that makes 3.8 million .Dubas f up getting him from Carolina he has had one year of at least at least a .915 save percentage ( STARTER SAVE PERCENTAGE ) IN HIS LAST 6 YRS . He has not played more then 40 games in a season in the last 6 years more proof that he is a backup . The only decent season he has had in the last 6 yrs he played 12 games in 2021 and had a .923 save percentage playing behind one of the best defences in the nhl . And the .923 is only spaced out over 12 games so it does ot mean much . Mcabe is a decent 4-5 dman, Consider it a 1 for 1 kerfoot for mcabe and the 2nd to is to eat 2 yrs of a crappy contract for a backup goalie . You do realize he had a .888 sa percentage this year .

GM's aren't silly fans who justify their stance off cherry picked stats. They see a body of work and have scouts who get way more info than anyone here will see. And then they make a decision. Mrazek isn't trash, he had a rough injury plagued season. And this summer's goalie market is paper thin.

He has had 6 bad years in a row . Look at the difference in sa percentage between him and Campbell playing behind the same defence this year in Toronto . And their is nothing cherry picked about his stats in the last 6 years .
