Really would like to keep Olofsson, but this would be the kind of trade I would use him for. Think Marino would be a good partner for Power

As a Sabre fan, combine the Ducks and Sabre trades:
TO PIT:
2022 7th round pick (DAL)
Olofsson, Victor [RFA Rights]
Bryson, Jacob [RFA Rights]
Lyckåsen, Albert [Reserve List]
To BUF:
Marino, John
Zucker, Jason
Kapanen, Kasperi [RFA Rights]
2022 4th round pick (PIT)
2022 5th round pick (PIT)
2022 6th round pick (PIT)
2023 2nd round pick (PIT) (or Heinen if you wish)
2024 3rd round pick (PIT)

Zucker and Kapanen are over paid, but Buffalo could absorb their contracts.
I know they may keep Quinn or Peterka out of the line up, but is that a bad plan to give them a chance to grow in Rochester.
But right now they are both 20 years old.
Let's compare them to some other Buffalo successful draft picks:
Pominville spent over 3 years in Rochester and was 23 before he became Sabre regular.
Vanek after two years at the U of Minn spent a full season in Rochester and was 21 before he became Sabre regular.
Roy spent parts of three seasons in Rochester and was 22 before he became a Sabre regular.
Gaustad spent three seasons in Rochester and was 23 before he became a Sabre regular.
Zucker takes Olofsson's LW spot. Obviously does not replace his scoring, but he has 17 goals in his last 79 games while Olofsson has 20 in his last 72 games.
Marino adds to Buffalo RHD
Kapanen becomes a depth forward if the Sabres resign Hinostroza, if not he could PK in Buffalo as he did in Toronto.

Buffalo also gets a handful of draft picks, like candy to Jeramiah Crowe.

If I were the Buffalo GM and Hextall offered me this package, I would be thrilled.
Let me add, Buffalo sends three roster spots and the Penguins send three (or four if Heinen replaces the 2nd).
A typical exchange to balance the rosters.

I do get what you’re saying but I think on our end that’s a lot of assets going out and that could be a problem. I’d prefer the 2 deals split rather than that all in one trade. If it all is into one massive trade like you said to Buffalo (I doubt it would be in one) I’d take it if we had a low end pick coming back our way to balance it out. With all of that being exchanged all we get back is a 7th and we are sending out 5 picks.

NP, make a trade then involving the players but offer the number of picks that you consider fair.
Unlike my fellow Sabre fans, I do not want to trade Olofsson, he is playing really well and even on the Sabres could approach 30 goals next year.
But Zucker, Marino and Kapanen could all find a spot in the Sabres line up after trading Olofsson.
IMO keeping the kids on the farm one more year will make the 2023-24 fun.

EDIT
Let me offer a counter trade:
Olofsson, Bjork (50% retention) and Bryson for Marino, Zucker, Kapanen (Heinen if you wish) and 2023 2nd (PIT).
Bjork >> Lyckasen and he had only 3 fewer goals than Zucker
