If Winnipeg wants the 1st overall pick so badly, it’s going to cost them A LOT. You have to keep in mind that the draft is in Montreal, so you’d have to be giving one hell of an offer to get a trade done. Personally I’d say it’s not even worth trying to trade for the pick.

Don't know why you think the Habs only two options. Probably the best option is not to trade for a second line centre and try to get one as UFA. Dubois is probably gonna to get paid close to UFA $$$$.
