Description

With all the money available I decided to finally go for the big fish in FA, Gaudreau.

My main focus instead of shipping out Gibson is to improve the dmen in front of him (also improve the scoring with Dunn).
Shattenkirk has one year left and I can definitely see Zellweger take Urho's spot. Who knows Zellweger and Helleson might be with the team in 2 years. I considered Letang for a short term (1/2yrs at 8M) but I went with Dunn who you can bring back for another contract.

This team has a 16.25M in cap space this year and 41.8M$ next year. Next offseason you'll know who to keep, who to send and then be even more aggressive if you want in FA/trade.

Thought if Dunn was worth a 1st. I can see it in a trade deadline where teams can get desperate, not in an offseason. Seattle would have five 2nds, a 3rd, and a 1st this draft. They can get aggressive if they want or just use them all. Would look better if Grubauer didn't exist.

Interesting stuff-- solid looking team here. Will be very interesting to see what this team would look like the following year with Zegras, Terry, Comtois, Dunn, and Drysdale needing new contracts. That cap space could vanish very quickly...
