No Ive NEVER said that in fact i laugh at people who do.

Yeah, it's clear now. You were saying forget Stamkos as even being an option to move and I agree. I read "Forget Stamkos really resign Paul..." as meaning 'we don't need him, move him if possible'. Which was why I was baffled.

Which brings me back to the point of Killorn potentially being a cap casualty.

you can runn22 sign paul say we love you but Sayonara Pally i think people say pally is more important than Killer are wrong period full stop Killer puts up better numbers kills penalties and doesn't play with Kuch and Pointer. it comes to dollars mostly Killer is cheaper and has been in more situations. there's a reason Cooper took a time out to extend Killers shift to end the Bubble.

I don't think Paul sticks around either, he would cost just as much or slightly cheaper. Palat is probably gone as well, which makes Killorn more important since he knows the pk system. With Killorn they have 11 forwards and 6D signed (one being Cal Foote), and are 1.9m over the cap. I don't know how much cap flexibility Seabrook gives them, so one does wonder if he would be moved for flexibility.

Perhaps, though Point, Hedman and some other banged up players do end up on LTIR at the start of the season, so maybe he won't need to be moved.

I can see TB getting Mikheyev if he would come cheap for a year.

It depends on if they are over or under the cap before putting him on and how close. I know teams try to get as close to the cap possible to get more to the pool. So we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Just read up on what happens if they are over the cap, looks like they would have that entire 6m or. Whatever if they spend that much before putting him on LTIR and since they can go over the cap by 10% in the offseason they should be good on that regard.

Which means they have like 4m to spend.

Tampa won't trade Serg without a top prospect coming back. If Detroit thinks they'll win a bidding war with Zadina, a protected 1st and a 3rd, that offer gets beat easily. They'll probably keep Serg and Paul, trade Killorn and let Rutta walk. They may decide to move on from an RFA, but if it's Serg, it will be a rather large return. Edvinsson, Zadina and a 2nd at least gets the Wings in the race if Serg becomes available.
