wow there's a lot going on here. First of all 5.5 mil for DeHaan is a ridiculous overpayment, he's good but he's still a third pairing guy. Also say goodbye to Terry, Zegras, and Drysdale because this team would have absolutely $0 of cap space going into next season

no clue on the trade. my 1 constructive criticism would be rather than sign Gaudreau and campbell use that money to take on 1 year cap dumps for picks/ prospects and then you can use that money next year for the contracts for those really good younger players.

Exactly, guys like Lucic, Monahan possibly, Kassian, Khudobin even if say a 2nd is attached is what Anaheim should do

with 15 mil in space you could grab a 1st and 2/3 2nds for taking on cap1 because next year that is all going to get eaten up with those extensions.
then you don't lose any players and have 3/4 good level prospects to add to the pool making your future that much brighter.
