I think the 2nd pick coming back would have to be NSH at the 49th overall pick instead of the 36th. I think Kostin needs to be added too. So final trade I think could work is Scandella + 23rd + Kostin for Soucy + 49th

I’m more inclined to keep the 23rd and pick up a RD partner for Perunovich down the road, I like Ryan Chesley cause he’s a Two-Way D-man but more defensive which could partner well with Perunovich to give a similar situation to Makar and Toews. where Perunovich does his thing offensively and Chesley comes up big with the defensive plays but also makes good plays to start the offense with a strong transition game and even rubs his defensive awareness on Perunovich.

I'd love to grab Jett Woo to develop for this role. Keep the 1st for something else (in a Gavrikov/Sanheim package? Gaucher? Pickering? trade up a little if Lambert is falling?) and use a lower pick/prospect for the trade.

I saw Lambert at 21 on the June Mock by Bleacher Report, which is nuts cause he is an undoubted top 3 in NHL franchise mode. Would be massive to get him with his potential. What would Jett Woo need? I keep seeing Kostin as a trade chip this offseason maybe something in and around there

I think it would be more like a prospect that isn't on the big team yet. I don't feel Woo would cost all that much, it sure seems like Vancouver doesn't appreciate him much. I am not ready to cast Kostin off just yet. He always seems to hit a plateau when he reaches a new level, but then he comes back stronger the second try. He could still be a 3rd line keeper.

Nah, Mikko is already a Blue and needed there. Kinda through no fault of his own, Woo is probably still worth no more than a late 2nd in trade value. At best. But I think Army could even do better than that.

I dont see Lambert being worth a pickup. He's not the smartest with the puck. Has some talent and a good shot, but don't think he has the mental game figured out.
