This seems incredibly reasonable.
I'm kinda torn on whether to target Nuke or Bura, but either would be solid additions. While I don't like the idea of going 5 x $6, it's quite likely that we'll have to overpay a bit to get a solid UFA. Thoughts on Nino instead?
*Something* tells me that Bear is going to be looking for closer to $4 on an AAV. If the issue in Carolina is strictly money (Friedman said Carolina would prefer to keep him, but that they were pretty far apart on money).
I think it's unlikely that McTavish starts off at C. While I think Rico can still handle those minutes, it might not hurt to get a bit more C depth.
Poolparty? A solid addition but unless Edmonton can unload Barrie, I don't see them being super interested in Shatty. Also not sold on moving Comer unless it's in a package for a major upgrade (DUBCAT SZNNNNN!)
Lastly, I remember seeing the Calgary fans thread, but I'd be surprised if they'd give up a 1st to move him. If they want to keep Johnny, Mangiapane and Tkachuk, it might be worth it, but I'd imagine a 2nd and OK prospect is likely more like it (Similar to Stralman trade to Zona last year).
Thats how I started making this ACGM was debating with myself between those two for who would be the better target for us
I've never really been a fan of Nino, I think Nuke or Bura is the way to go if we add to our top 6 through FA
Yeah I was doing some looking around and there doesnt seem to be a real consensus on Bears next contract so I took a wild swing here haha, I think he'd be a solid target for us
McTavish for sure starts on the wing (probably line 3 as well) I just like putting him at C
I think we for sure add at least one bottom 6 C in FA, I was just lazy and didnt want to sift through the FAs
Oh right I forgot about Barrie, yeah they probably wont have any interest in Shatty then but I see a deal around Comer and Pool Party being solid for us if Comtois is on the way out (hopefully not)
Yeah something like that is probably more likely than what I have above, I just took the easy way out
