Calling Miller a 99 point player is a bit of a stretch haha. It's not like he's been putting up 100 points for the last 5 years. Plus you want goal scorers on Crosby's line - so you would leave the guy who has obvious chemistry and has scored at a 40 goal pace for 3 of the last 4 years.

The team is still pretty damn good though…Ruhwedel has proven to be a capable D. Jordie Benn is good. Beaulieu could be decent too. If not, then they make a deal for a D somewhere in the season. Or maybe POJ takes a step forward and can be an impact player?

I was more emphasizing that he is probably the best LW on the team, guentzel hasn't been healthy for the last 3 years and is usually a little bit above a point per game player. Miller did have a great season and it might be his platform season, but he is a 99 point player, once a 40 goal scorer is always a 40 goal scorer. same goes for 99 point players.

I know what you meant - that's just very much debatable and it doesn't really make sense to move a better goal scorer who already has great chemistry with Crosby down the lineup. Saying Guentzel hasn't been healthy for the last 3 years just isn't correct. He played 76/82 games last year and 56/56 the year before. Missed time in 19-20 for his shoulder injury and played 82/82 both years before that. There's no health issues with Guentzel. Sure - I guess that's fair to call him that
