If they're not rebuilding, there's no point in Philly taking on the Allen contract at this point, even at 50%. But I think Anderson would be a good fit there, though I think the 5OA is too high for a straight up deal

Allen at 50% retained is an incredibly good value backup/fringe starter. They're not taking his contract on; they're allowing Carter Hart to not have too much pressure on him. 5OA for Anderson alone is a bad deal, which is why Allen and the third (could change to Edmonton's second) are added.

My issue is his injury issues..........that doesn't help Hart at all. ANd Allen 50% still doesn't push it to the 5OA

Nope not at all but he is breaking down and the style of play that makes him so effective will make it worse.

Yeah totally agree with you, he's not worth that much for sure but he still have is value it's not like some people say that he's a cap dump or garbage just because he come from MTL.
