How many times in history has a player been traded away due to a contract dispute and then traded back to the original team 2 years later.

I really don't get why people think CBJ would be trading for Anderson let alone giving up an extremely high pick.

The people that are believing that rumour are not the kind of people that are putting in any effort to understanding the history of any team besides the Habs. I wouldnt be surprised if some of them dont even know he played for the Jackets before.

So Detroit takes on the full contract of Jeff Petry, And at the same time falls back 4 spots in the draft. Yeah i don't think so. Make it the Chicago #6 pick and we might consider it.

Stop trading Anderson to us please. We have no room on the right wing. If we're trading the pick it's for help at D or C.

New coach? Tortorella isn't exactly easy to get along with. Look at PLD.

I'd do it if they switch the 2022 1st round pick (CBJ) to 2023 1st round pick (MTL)

I believe that it was Jarmo that Anderson and his agent didn't like. Jarmo didn't want to give Anderson a long term deal or give him a 1 year that walked to UFA.

PLD didn't mesh with the old guard leadership (players I think) and wanted to be allowed to play more offense. I think Jarmo's negotiating style was really the thing that pushed him to leave. He is still there.

Ok I was just guessing about Anderson. I remember Tortorella not wanting to talk to the media after benching PLD fo a period or 2.
