Once again, deluded Toronto fans refusing to give up on the Jake-Muzzin-back-to-Los-Angeles wet dream and still flogging the dead horse they had to dig up first . . .

. . . as if Muzzin would approve the trade in the first place.

Just out of curiosity, how do Maple Leafs fans think the mechanics of this transaction would unfold? Doesn't it occur to anyone that before Dubas could make this offer to Blake, he'd have to go to Muzzin and ask him to waive his NTC?

Can’t see a Wilson and Nylander swap. Also think Wilson has more value in the eyes of GMs. Would take a gross overpay to get him so adding Vanecek and a third seems very unlikely.

It’s the same guy, who can’t find the videos/posts where this is something that is a legit rumor. They also think Muzzin believes LA is a better place for winning a cup than Toronto. Otherwise why else would he waive? But hey, maybe it’s time to blow up the team?

I just did a quick survey:
-- posted 12 Toronto ACGMs since June 1
-- all 12 featured Muzzin-to-LA trades
-- 3 for Jonathan Quick
-- 4 for Gabe Vilardi
-- 1 for Trevor Moore
-- 1 for Alex Turcotte (plus a 2nd!!!)
-- last 3 for Blake Lizotte
-- all 12 of which received completely unanimous objections from every LA guy responding, and many others, too
To me, this shows an admirable ability to ignore the outside world in general and the voices of reason in particular.

Wilson, Vanecek, 3rd for Nylander

Oh look, another "PLEASE give us Wilson for one-dimension Nylander, who we have been continually trying to trade on here for three years, plus give us some extra stuff to boot" TML AGM...

Trading Wilson would be a PR nightmare in DC, but for giggles, Caps counter with Wilson for Nylander (-$1.8M), 2nd, 2nd

Simple some guy living in his mom's basement in toronto tweets something about a trade that is advantageous to the leafs for that makes it a legit source

They know, they are just trolling. At this point, I’m not upset, I’m sort of get it.

I’d be pretty upset if I were a Leafs fan too, their window is starting to close and they have nothing to show for it. Each year they get crap luck and play a powerhouse in the first round. They haven’t had star power like this since Gilmore and are stuck doubling down, and if this doesn’t work it will likely be another 5-6 years until their window opens. Let them take their day out on us, we have two cups in the last 11 years and entering our compete window with two selke finalists with strong leaf assets to support us.

Don't know how many times we have to go over this, but no one is paying, not even a 7th, for Mrazek. Hawks decline unless you pay them to dump his contract with us.

Wilson is untouchable, and he's worth more than Nylander
