So Chiarot as a rental fetches 1st a 4th and a prospect and you think it’s an obscene amount for a 24yr old 20 minute a game dman signed for half a decade on a team friendly deal. COL doesn’t do that trade at all. They might be open to trading him but not for a package that literally makes them a worse team immediately.

Not sure I understand the Girard trade from Colorado’s perspective. A team in their cup contention window probably doesn’t want to downgrade their top 4 like this.

A Bennett trade makes sense for Colorado, but you’d probably want him playing more than just 3rd line minutes. Ideally, he’d be your Kadri replacement.

I had the Girard trade becuase I think Byram will be ready for top 4 minutes but I don’t know what a package would look like for him. But I do think he could get traded and LA is interested in everyone

You wouldnt get either of those players from the Kings for Girard. Better players are available to use a first round pick on also. Hard pass.
