You can get minimum a 1st for Skjei given that he's been FANTASTIC since he arrived in Raleigh and they paid a 1st to get him, he's not a rental, and his value has only increased.

He has not been fantastic. He’s good, not great, not a top pair guy, and wasn’t good against NYR. No one is giving up a 1st round pick for a second pairing guy who is a bit overpaid and doesn’t quarterback the PP.



What comparable are you using for Forsberg to get 10? Cole literally got 2.9 last year and he's better than Kulak was. Mikheyev's got a very good comparable in Carolina already! Look at Fast.

On Forsberg, let’s see how it plays out, but I bet he’s close to $10m. Especially if Gaudreau resigns with Calgary.

Nope. Skjei's been fantastic since get got to Raleigh. He's played 1st pairing minutes alongside Pesce. He's not played 1D situations, but he's been fantastic as a Hurricane.
