What would you give up for a year of Bo half retained?

You could probably re-sign him as well if you want but would need to move something next offseason.

That’s Millers price. Drop the 3rd and it’s more fair, right Leafs fans?

think we might have to add Miller and Pettersson to get a deal as great as that one tbh

Sounds like Canucks fans ask for 1 season of Miller.

Miller was 12 in the league for scoring my guy he isn't coming cheap, leaf fans have a rep on this site for undervaluing everyone else's players

He isn't coming cheap. He also isn't going to fetch what he would have if they had traded 2 playoffs of him. The 4 'big piece' dream is dead ... to everyone but Canucks fans.

Frankly, everyone undervalues everyone else's players and everyone overvalues their players. Leafs fans aren't unique to this in any fashion.

This is supposed to be about Horvat. Not looking for a circle jerk argument lol I'm looking for opinions on what leafs would trade for Bo.

Doubt the Leafs would be interested in Bo. Tavares is still their 2C and until that plan has changed they don't have a need that would match the cost.

Fair but at 2.75mil you could play him 3C which would create a pretty damn scary top 9.

It would but the cost would be prohibiting for someone who is going to get 3C ice time. You don't pay 1st +s for someone who's going to play less than 15 minutes a night.

I'd look to teams who are weak down the middle when shopping him. Teams like Buffalo, Montreal and Anaheim all want to be much better as soon as next season, have strong prospect pipelines and are rather weak past their 1Cs.

TO is pretty strong up the middle Horvat in not a guy the Leafs really need. Their need is on the backend

Everyone has a rep on this site for under and over valuing. Don't kid yourself.

For horvat it would be our first and B prospect. Maybe add 4th for 5th for the retention.

Leafs have good centre depth but any centre can play the wing. Leafs are in zero need if any Dmen. We have 7 nhl Dmen capable of playing top 4 minutes.

That doesn't mean they're top 4 dmen. Muzzin has health issues, Holl is there because Liljegren and Sandin haven't taken the next step yet, we'll see their progress throughout the season, Gio is great for the contract but is getting old.

Honestly I would pay a first, a b prospect like Abruzzee or Hirovan, plus another C prospect who the Canucks like. I would consider both Hirovan and Abruzzee too plus a first

Holl is on the top 25% in war. Lilly is a top 4 Dman. I would have him with Rielly next season. Sandin is already ahead of Muzzin. The issue is leafs coaching and management overcooking young players. Just like they did to Dermott. the only reason Muzzin was ahead of Sandin was his "vet status". Putting these players in "don't **** up" mode kills their growth. Both offensively and defensively.

Leafs biggest need is goaltending at the moment. Since we don't have a starter under contract..
