Wight was placed in a weird situation this year after missing a year due to COVID, then being paired with rookies in a more defensive role on a terrible team.
If you look at his progression in term of first, second and third year in the OHL - his progression is similar to a certain McDavid. Wright is no McDavid, but his point tally in the circumstance is great for his second OHL year.
