Don’t think the difference in talent at 2OA and 6OA is worth 12OA this year. Maybe next year. Really can’t see the jackets doing this trade unless Jarmo loves someone at 2. Jackets have two big future needs at 1C and 1RD and have a good shot of getting at least one with their picks this year

I think NJD should keep #2 and CBJ should keep #6 and #12.

To me, there is a top 3 (Nemec, Cooley, Slafkovsky) and then a drop-off (I am bearish on Wright).

I see what you are saying. It might be fair value wise but doesn’t make sense needs wise for Columbus. I also think the jackets would take jiricek over nemec right now which is why if he falls to 6 it would line up perfect for them. Then they could grab the best forward available at 12.

So everybody wins by staying put.
