I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM if the pick were top-10 protected, or maybe even top-5.

If Torts goes to Philly I think most of the players being traded would do well under him. I do believe Morgan Frost would probably be the first casualty in his system and be more likely to be moved than most of the other players.

The Jackets won't pay that much for Nick Ritchie, nor do I believe they are interested in another forward. They also would prefer to not clog up the forward system with so many young guys coming in.

If I'm reading this correctly it looks like a three way trade between Arizona, Philly, and Columbus and if that's the case: Columbus could be willing to make this a massive blockbuster including Texier, top forward propects, eating Reimsdyk's contract, and picks to get a defenseman like Sanheim, Chychrun, possibly a guy like Mayo or to get physicality in the forward group.

And, a better issue - why would anyone pay anything for Ritchie?
