Don’t like that Columbus trade at all. Hard to tell the type of goalie Merzlikins really is, and idk if he is a true starter on a top team. Much rather keep Campbell and all the assets or sign Kuemper in FA

Kuemper has posted amazing numbers over his career, far better than Merzlikins. If we’re gonna trade for a goalie similar to Merz I’d target Cal Petersen who randomly wasn’t a starter this year and if LA is stupid, could value him lowly

-Chicago is probably the only sensible option for Mrazek. Send him there with Abruzzese and they'll take him on.

-Rangers are in a tight cap crunch this year and already have Ryan Lindgren/K'Andre Miller signed to be LD1/2 for less combined than what Muzzin costs. Easiest of passes from the Rangers - give them a pick or a prospect if you want Georgiev's rights.

-Maybe CBJ takes it? I dunno. Feels more likely they give him a chance to rebound on a team that isn't planning on doing much next season. I think that if you want to pay $5.4M for a goalie though, just re-sign Jack Campbell and keep the picks/prospects.

-Overpay for Holl. He's worth a 4th tops.

-Same for Kerfoot - no one is giving a 1st straight up for a pending UFA over the summer. He needs to show he can produce when he's not on a line with Tavares & Nylander before he's worth that.
