Basically Ridly Greig. He’s probably 1 year out from being an NHL centre (wouldn’t surprise me if he got a significant look next season, he had a great camp last year and scored a highlight reel preseason goal, he can hang). But Minnesota desperately needs help down the middle and I don’t think Pinto would/should be on the table. The Sens would probably be willing to add more on top of that too. So it basically comes down to if we treat 7oa+Jarventie as fair, what is the difference between Greig and Kasper (the only true C projected in the 7oa range)? Would Greig+Jarventie+JBD/Brannstrom or something along those lines get it done? Maybe Lodin? Or C. Brown half-retained? Or 39oa? Idk. I don’t think it’s likely, but I do think there’s a possibility for a bigger package based around Greig that’s worth considering so Minnesota gets an ELC centre in their lineup within a year.
