I so would love the Leafs to target Gauthier. Did not have a lot of puck luck this year but generated a lot of quality scoring chances, especially off the rush.

Maybe for the 4th line, but I think the leafs are better off signing/trading for someone with more finishing talent

yeah I could be wrong , I think they should target Jarnkrok for a 3rd line role. Solid defensively , great finisher. He was unlucky on CGY but the past 3 seasons he was shooting at a good clip.

I’d call him a bust in the sense he was a 1st round pick (21 overall) but I don’t know what he is yet with only 91 games under his belt and getting under 9min a night.

All I can say is when he us on the ice he creates a lot of offence, uses his speed well to get in on the forecheck, has some nice underlining numbers.

I’d take a flyer if he goes unqualified.
