They can… just if the caps are willing to. Pay a 2nd with half retained we do that and repackage the other deal to look sexier lol

They do but Philly fans on here haven't accepted the fact that a gm in Fletcher's position could potentially make some aggressive moves. Canucks fans were the same last year and then Benning went out and made the.OEL deal

Philly has space to re-sign him, and I don’t see how they rebuild with so many veteran players on big-money long-term contracts. I doubt this year’s 5th OA pick makes an impact for at least a couple more years.
