Adding him does still clog up that left wing which I think would be the only problem

Anaheim’s 2023 2nd is likely going to be high. High 30’s. In a steep draft it’s not worth it for a player we don’t necessarily need at the moment. It jams our left wing pipeline and basically kicks out Comtois and Jones

How’s RW? He scored 20 goals in 50 games as a RW, and I think he actually led the bruins in even strength points over that stretch. If not he was pretty close to it.

This trade really isn’t good for Boston. If you’re giving away a 25 goal scorer and taking on a cap dump - a 2nd round pick can’t be the best piece. Trade doesn’t make sense for Boston to begin with, and the value is lopsided.
