This is worse than the typical Toronto fans' Muzzin-to-Los-Angeles nonsense. We're not trading Thomas or a third-round pick for him; the idea that we would trade the 19th overall selection in this year's draft for him is utterly preposterous. We're looking for Jakob Chychrun, Ivan Provorov or Mikhail Sergachev for our #1 LD, not Muzzin.

The problem with Gibson-for-Nylander is that if YOU think he's your starting goalie for five years, then so do WE. Nylander is a wonderful player, but his contract is up in two years, which is just when we're planning on graduating from pretender to contender. (We won't be in the playoffs in 2023, either, but we might be in 2023-2024.)
