LA is not going to trade Matt Roy. If for some reason they did decide to move him, it wouldn't be for that return.

Go for Walker from LA, he'd realistically be available and would come at a lower cost. We should not give that up for Dillon

I think you're in the right ballpark for Dillon as we dealt 2 - 2nds for him last offseason. The thing is that Fitzgerald doesn't do much for us.

I'd say if it was the Flyers 2nd and then Portillo's rights, that would be more appealing to me. Or maybe the Sabres 2nd this year and the Penguins 3rd next year?

The Kings won't move Roy or Iafallo for Chychrun. Why would Arizona want players older than the guy they're selling? They want draft picks and young prospects.

Kings can't afford Forsberg, even if they move all of those players.

Dillon isn't even that big of a cap hit. He's absolutely someone you need come playoff time, so I would keep him. Heinola can wait.

Why trade Dillon for someone that can play for the Moose though? He's not that much of a cap hit and isn't a liability defensively. He's the kind of defensive body WPG needs, especially come playoffs. I would much rather keep him and have Heinola play lights out in the A until he's undeniably ready for the NHL

Doesnt have to be in a deal for chychrun. But they would have to do the trades like Roy for Johnson and a 2nd rounder and Iafallo for a pick to another team to get enough cap for Forsberg. They can fit Forsberg at around 9 million and Chychrun if they dont bring back any of their ufa players and shed iafallo roy and walker contracts.
They may be able to get away with keeping one of roy or iaffalo if they dont bring back lemieux.
