Yeah but he brings the physical element which the Leafs don't really have a lot of. He also hit 30 goals last year and 62 points in 68 games which is on pace for about 70 in a full 82. I'd take that production replacement for sure.

Nylander is NOT being moved anywhere with at least a TOP player coming back in addition to 1st round draft picks... minimum of one depending on where the pick lands. Anything out of the top 10 will require another pick, maybe a 2nd probably another 1st. SOrry, but the guy is too elite to get less (and any of you Nylander naysayers out there can squat in your own frustration and misery, because the guy is awesome).

OTT is not trading Stu end of story, making a huge hole in the middle to plug up the RW spot is not a good thing, and no player taken 7th or 8th will be as good as Stu, this is a step back for OTT as C is the most difficult position to Fill and Stu could displace Norris as 1c as early as next year, tho Seeing Stu with Raymond would be sick

We are at the point in the rebuild where we can probably trade quantity (even young quantity) for quality, but that is probably too much.

Also, let's upgrade LD a little, so we can at least hit the cap floor.
