Detroit is past the cap dump accrual stage of the rebuild and would only do it in an ideal situation where we can add a player of value AND acquire assets. Nemeth adds no value, so Detroit is not interested.

Ship him to Arizona, chytil proving that strome or copp possibly redundant. Hunt could probably be 3lw and goodrow to the middle, possibly buy again at next deadline to top up top 9. Georgiev might as well be shipped somewhere he can fight for starting job. Might need to bargain hunt some bottom 6 depth, backup tender and possibly some left defense depth, but all bargain or youth.

The thing with them is each seems to have a different skill set which compliments and feeds off the others real well. But I wouldn't rush them into 2nd line duties just yet...let them continue developing, gain more and more confidence, and improve defensively before they are made the 2nd line...this is why it's so important to extend Copp. Copp plays all situations and is a top 6 "swiss army knife". If he decides to maximize his UFA option elsewhere- will be interesting to see who is available for a short termed stint as 2C.
