Yea, I think it's a better team with Kadri instead of Nylander. But the Leafs would need a real NHL competent 7th Dman...no Hollowell.
I have as much chance playing for the Jets as Muzzin has of waiving his NTC for Winnipeg. So Muzzin stays and Schmidt remains a Jet. Maybe the 300,00 saving 750,000 Hollo well and 800,000 you show in cap space gets you a guy like Lybushin.

I was with you until Muzzin waiving his NTC for Winnipeg. I did a Leafs ACGM where Kadri signed for 6 mil and Campbell got his 5 mil. But the bottom 6 wasn't very good.

The Jets are looking to move Schmidt in order to make roster spots for Heinola/Samberg. They do not need older LHD like Muzzin.

The Jets aren't downgrading from Schmidt to Muzzin.
