But the usual silliness trading the untradeable Muzzin.

In my opinion, Lyubushkin’s a better fit by far but they’re not far off in value. Now that I think about it more, you’re right, trading Kallgren doesn’t make sense lol. I don’t think trading Muzzin is silly, I think it’s the only way to keep Mikheyev/Campbell/Engvall who they need more, and otherwise Sandin would be scratched all the time. I know Muzz has gotten a lot of hate and I still think he’s a good top four D, I’d just rather have Sandin and Mikheyev than Muzzin at this point. Keeping Lyubushkin at a lower price tag than Muzzin ensures that they don’t lose grit.

I would love to the Leafs to trade Muzzin. But he has NTC and has absolutely no motivation to be traded virtually any team (maybe Tampa). There are so many cap strapped teams, no one is giving up just picks for him...for that reason it's a silly trade.
I agree with you the Leafs need cap and need to trade high cap player, but really there is only player that meets than criteria and it's Nylander. But Leaf fans just fritter around the edges and trade other players including Muzzin

Minnesota needs to be trading players for futures, not the other way around. We don't have the cap space to be adding over $5 million with out any money going the other way.
