Why don't you say the same about the avs? They played against: Rittich, Ingram, Binnington, Husso, and Smith.
They also played against easy goaltending. "But the avs have a better offense so-" NO. Rangers have a great offense too, if the rangers were a fluke, so are the avalanche.

Bowen Byram is stupid underrated. He has an extremely bright future. Shoutout to Stan Bowman for picking Kirby Dach over Byram, even though Bowman desperately needed top 4 D talent at the time

The Kotkaniemi, Hayton, and Dach (and maybe McTavish?) fiasco may make GMs reconsider their drafting strategies. Reaching for centers can be very risky although there can be a high reward attached to it.

Too early to include McTavish. He’s shown some great flashes for just being drafted.

Yeah that's why I included him in brackets since he was also a big reach. He may not end up as a bad pick himself, but I feel like Eklund and L. Hughes have to possibility to make them regret their choice.

His concussion history is concerning, you always worry another big hit could set him back, but totally agree very bright future.

I pray Eklund follows that line of thought.
Had a tough year - woulda preferred him in the AHL but idk how that works as idk if he was eligible to play there. Still have faith in him to make a full time season this year.

I could still see him being a C but I'd be interested to know what percentage he played the Olympics and WC between a winger and a C.

If recall I do think I saw him as a C at some point in both but would be curious to see the majority.
