quoting the Flames fans who've responded cuz I'm curious on a wrinkle that could be added - I think Anaheim obviously declines the first deal, so do you think Calgary leans more towards that deal if Olofsson is included? You're obviously giving up the best player in Andersson, but you're shedding Monahan's cap, adding a guy who can replace him at 3C for ~$4M less, and bringing in a PP sniper who's averaged 24 goals/82 GP on *Buffalo* - I could easily picture him turning into a 35ish goal scorer playing with a guy like Lindholm. He also gives you insurance against Gaudreau potentially leaving in the offseason - not saying that he'll be a 100 point guy, but it's something.

Gudas = no thanks, especially if you’re gonna put him on the 2nd pair with Power when he’s a 3rd our defenseman who’s frankly not that good

No, top pair RD are hard to come by. A Hoffman like player doesn't push the needle

Theres is 0% chance of calgary moving rasmus. Hes our top defender and put up 50 points this year. This is terrible for calgary
