There is almost no chance Hellebuyck is moved and a laughable offer like this would receive no consideration. It would need to be Mercer and Jersey's 1st in 22 or 23 unprotected to get the Jets talking.

Look I agree that the trade is bad for the jets, but I’m sorry Helle is not close to being a top 3 goalie, he is overrated

He’s a top 5 goalie, and can play at a top 3 level when he’s on. Jets likely say no to this, but I’m sure there would be some interest around Daws + NJ 1st.

I agree the jets don’t take this, the devils don’t take it either though. but he isn’t that good,He is good but he is overrated. Vasy, Shesterkin, Saros, Anderson, Sorokin, Swayman, Demko, and Oettinger are all better than him. Kuemper, Jarry, and bob are probably slightly better, I would say a guy like markstrom is probably similar to him.

So… holtz daws foote and 2OA for Helle and what will be at highest 29th overall?

It’s really hard to gauge goalie values. Sure we may value them at a certain level, but in the NHL I’m sure GMs value them much more than we do. So I think it’s really hard to say where his value lies.

Personally I have Vasy and Shesterkin at 1&2 respectively and the rest all bounce between 3-10.

What's the deal with these Bucky deals? jets trading a top 3 (5 at worst) goalie along with 2 firsts??? it's just doesnt make sense.

I just dont think the trade makes sense for either team. Jets still want to compete and add, so trading their best player doesn't make sense. NJ is making strides to be better and compete for a playoff spot in the next couple years so trading for a goalie with 2 years left on his deal doesnt make sense IMO
